Media Communications and Broadcasting Schools in New York
As New York typically has a lot to offer in most categories, broadcasting schools and broadcasting programs are no exception. Columbia University has one of the most famous journalism schools in the US. The City University of New York offers degrees in televison/radio, theatre, speech, performing arts, media, film, and communications. These are very limited examples of the broadcasting-related programs the city's schools have to offer students.
About: New York University Tisch School of the Arts offers visiting students opportunities to study the performing and cinematic arts in New York City or at one of our international locations. Visiting undergraduate and graduate students may take Winter Session courses in New York City, Chile, Jamaica or Puerto Rico. Spring at Tisch gives undergraduate students a chance to live in NYC and start their artistic careers in acting, filmmaking, dramatic writing, photography and imaging, theatre production and design, or to explore the moving image in cinema studies. Undergraduate students may study abroad with us during the spring, summer or fall semesters in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, Florence, Havana, Johannesburg, London, Paris, Prague, Shanghai or Sydney. The summer also offers undergraduate and graduate courses in New York City, as well as noncredit film and dramatic writing certificates.
